BOTNIA AI Energy
The platform

Where the asset and the customer meet.

Botnia is, above all, the place where energy is bought and sold with a traceable record. On one side, whoever holds generation, land or the ability to build. On the other, industry that needs to consume better. In between, one case file per opportunity and an engine that decides what fits with what.

Communication and AI support

Always informed, and always someone to ask.

A case file is worth nothing if you have to chase it. Here the information comes to you: you choose which alerts you want and through which channel, or you simply come in and see everything the platform has done for you while you were not looking.

And you can talk to it. Ask, suggest, disagree: the artificial intelligence behind it returns the solution and, when there is more than one, the alternatives with their numbers and their assumptions in plain view. It does not decide for you. It lets you decide on solid ground.

Alerts on your terms

You choose what alerts you and through which channel. Neither months of silence nor an email for every movement.

Ask whatever you like

About your consumption, about an offer, or about why the platform recommends one thing and not another.

Full transparency

Every figure carries its assumption alongside it and every status says what it rests on. Nothing comes out of a black box.

Nothing is lost

What was discussed lives in the case file. Six months later it is still there, with its date and its context.

The model

A platform with two sides.

The value is not in owning the product. It is in matching well what already exists. So the platform brings together those who originate and build with those who consume, and answers for the fit between them.

Supply side

Developers and asset owners

If you have generation facing saturation, land under development, build capacity or a customer portfolio, the platform gives you an outlet without having to set up the commercial structure yourself.

  • Place your plant's surplus output as allocated energy for industrial customers.
  • Keep selling the rest of your output to the grid. The two are not exclusive.
  • Track on your own dashboard which MWh have been placed through Botnia, and at what price.
  • Put your product in the catalogue and reach demand that is already qualified.

Demand side

B2B industrial customers

If you run a plant, you do not have to choose a technology. You have to decide how much you want to spend and with how much certainty. Turning that into a mix is the platform's job.

  • One point of contact for generation, supply, storage and operation.
  • Offers with the assumptions in plain sight: base consumption, the curve used and which data is missing.
  • A live case file per opportunity, open to you at any time.
  • Later verification, on the invoice, of what was promised.

The third product

Compute: either you need it, or you can host it.

Computing capacity enters the platform on the same logic as energy: some need it, others have somewhere to put it. With one difference — whoever hosts it buys nothing, and is paid for the space.

You need servers

Capacity on demand

If your business needs GPUs to train models, run inference or process data, you request capacity and use it. No hardware to buy, no server room to fit out and no waiting for construction: the network grows node by node.

  • Infrastructure in Spain, with the data under a European framework.
  • Every node runs on its own renewable generation and battery.
  • Paid for by use, not as capital locked into equipment.

You can host them

Your building as a node

If you have a building and a connection point with room to increase contracted capacity, that connection is worth money. We handle the capacity increase with the network operator, install and run the node; you provide the space and are paid for it, and the battery stays available as backup for your plant.

  • No investment: equipment, installation, connectivity and maintenance are ours.
  • Space inside the building or outside (flat roof, car park or open ground), sized to the node's capacity at the technical visit, and a long contract with your activity untouched.
  • The same case file and the same traceability as any other product.

The engine

A lead is not an opportunity.

This is where a comparison site and a platform part company. Nothing turns into an opportunity by itself: between the lead and the offer there is a real assessment, backed by evidence, and it can end in a no.

The data comes in

Tax number, CUPS, bill and, where it exists, the hourly load curve. The company is checked and the supply point is tested against what the paperwork claims.

It is run against the whole catalogue

The same supply is assessed against every product line, not only the one the salesperson brought in. A customer who came looking for panels can leave with a supply contract and a battery.

A finding comes out, with its status stated

Potential identified, information missing, no fit, or not yet assessable. Stating the no and the don't know is part of the product: it stops us selling what will not hold up.

Only then is there an opportunity

If the finding is accepted, an opportunity opens in the right product line, valued, with an owner and with the originating channel on record.

Potential identified

It fits and there is a number.

Information missing

We know which data is missing and who holds it.

No fit

It was studied and it does not work. It stays on the record.

Not yet assessable

A stated limit, not a simulation. Never dressed up as a no.

What almost nobody does

Checking the promise on the invoice.

Signing a PPA or joining a collective self-consumption scheme is the easy part. The hard part comes later: knowing whether the allocated energy really appeared on your invoice, at the price agreed, with the economic effect promised.

A report will not do that. The invoice has to enter the system, be read and be tested line by line against the allocated energy. It is the most distinctive piece of the platform, and the reason we insist on reading bills from day one.

What gets checked every month

  • That the allocated energy appears on the invoice, with its volume.
  • That it is priced at the agreed rate and not at the market rate.
  • That the real saving matches the one that was offered.
  • That the cost of the mix is transparent and can be broken down.
  • That the allocation coefficients applied are the ones in force.

When something does not add up, the case file flags it and we claim it back. You do not have to wait for the annual settlement to find out.

Access

Everyone sees their own part.

The portal splits the information by role. It is not a shared folder with permissions layered on top: it is a case file with defined visibility, where every conversation stays attached to the case it belongs to.

Customer

Their supplies, their offers, their contracts and the monthly verification of what was contracted.

Sales partner

Their opportunities, the real status of each one and full traceability from the moment they register them.

Engineering

Documents in one place, simulations and everything needed to reach ready to build.

EPC contractor

Projects already prepared, with measured milestones and no qualification work left to do.

Why it matters

More control without more paperwork.

A live case file

One opportunity, one place. Documents, statuses and decisions together, from origination to commissioning.

Measured timings

How long each case file has been stalled, and at which stage. Queues become visible before they turn into a problem.

Clear ownership

The customer belongs to the channel that brings them. The platform provides the service, cross-sells the products and looks after both: the customer, so that what was contracted is delivered, and the channel, so that its relationship is left untouched.
