Privacy policy
What data we process, what for, for how long, and what you can do about it.
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy applies to this informational website and the enquiries we receive through its forms. Customer accounts and case files in the portal are managed by a separate service with its own privacy information.

2 · What data we process and where it comes from
- Contact and enquiry details you provide in the forms: name and surname, company, email address, telephone number, province or area of operation, reason and message. The partner form also allows you to indicate your profile, products of interest, volume of opportunities and customer base.
- Technical browsing data, on the terms set out in the cookies policy.
This website does not allow file uploads or manage customer accounts, contracts or case files. It does not use analytics or build browsing profiles.
3 · What we use it for and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiries and requests to partner with us. Basis: the consent you give when submitting the form.
- To respond to a request for information or a proposal about our services. When you request steps towards a contract, the basis is pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
4 · How long we keep it
Data from an enquiry that does not go ahead is kept for as long as is necessary to deal with it and, thereafter, for the limitation period of any actions that might arise from it.
5 · Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. Hosting and email providers may access the data necessary to provide those services and enable us to respond to your enquiry.
Enquiry data is not shared with other recipients unless there is a legal obligation to do so.
6 · International transfers
This site loads typefaces from Google's servers (Google Fonts), which involves a connection to servers that may be located outside the European Economic Area and the disclosure of your IP address. Apart from that case, no international transfers of data are envisaged. Should any be made in future, they will be made with appropriate safeguards.
7 · Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to info@botnia.es, stating the right you are exercising and providing proof of your identity. You may also withdraw any consent you have given at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the earlier processing.
If you consider that the processing does not comply with the legislation, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
8 · Security
Forms send enquiries to Botnia by email. Validation and protection against automated submissions are applied; the website does not save form messages in its own files.
9 · Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in legislation or in the service. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
